From Green Fields to Golden Sands
- Our route is a beautiful mix of Luxor’s lush nature, local village life, and the deep desert. The journey lasts 2 to 4 hours, completely depending on your pace and choice
The Step-by-Step Route
• The Starting Point: We begin riding through the beautiful green fields right next to the historic Colossi of Memnon.
• The Agricultural Road: As we ride along the peaceful green paths, you will have the Colossi of Memnon on your left and the grand Ramesseum Temple on your right.
• Through the Village: We then wind through the authentic, colorful mudbrick houses of Al-Qarna village, seeing the local lifestyle up close.
• The Statues of Amenhotep III: We will stop at the two newly uncovered statues of Amenhotep III—the perfect spot to take some incredible photos.
• Into the Desert: From there, we enter the serene, open desert. You will ride past the majestic Medinet Habu Temple on your left.
• The Desert Monastery: We continue deep into the desert sands until we reach the ancient Christian monastery, ) Deir El-Muhareb (The Monastery of St. Theodore.
•Choose Your Vibe: Sunrise vs. Sunset
The Sunrise Ride: Pure Magic
If you choose the morning ride, you will experience all of the above as the sun rises over the horizon. The best part? You will watch the colorful Hot Air Balloons floating gracefully in the sky right above you as you ride through the fresh morning breeze.
The Sunset Ride: The Golden Hour
If you choose the afternoon ride, you will catch the dramatic sunset over the desert mountains. Watch the sky turn into shades of orange and red over the deep sands—the perfect, peaceful end to your journey before we safely head back.
